Blessed with a good height of 6' and a well defined cheekbones, Cayden is all sharp angles and sleek features. His hair's thin in volume and a golden blonde, typically kept in a tight ponytail that hangs just below his shoulder blades. A few bangs usually manage to slip their way out of the ponytail to fall into bangs parted in the middle, putting them in perfect position to frame narrowed, dark green eyes. As far as body structure goes, Cayden is lean, border lining thin in fact, and keeps a light healthy tan that gives some color to his light features.
To match his clean-cut look, Cayden leans towards casual but high-quality clothing. Polo shirts and slacks are his best friends and if it's not name brand, he won't be seen wearing it. The clothing in his wardrobe is typically light colors and every piece of clothing has been hand tailored to fit him perfectly. In short, prissy rich boy is well dressed and prissy.
His PB is Akiha Hara from the manga Hanazakari no Kimitachi e.
Despite living in a family full of lies over lies over deceptions, Cayden values honesty over all else. This translates into a very honest, very blunt young man who has problems with others who don't say what they really mean. All too often, his bluntness comes off as rudeness and Cayden isn't ever really keen to fix his language because he does say what he means. This path of honesty has lead to numerous foot-in-mouth situations, which is probably why it's better to have him keep his mouth shut.
Beside his unnerving need to be completely truthful with people, Cayden's still a teenager who's working on growing up a little. He's constantly happy and carefree and just a little bit cocky, especially when it comes to fortune telling. While he may be on his way to finally achieving maturity after his first four years of college, the path there's still pretty long, with plenty of pit stops for fits of childishness. The Hawksley family is one buried deep in overlapping lies, and with good reason. For generations now, the family's had a front as fortunetellers in the Europe. Their accuracy made them well respected and kept them in constant business, though the label of fortunetellers was really a cover for the family's more developed psychic abilities. Though members of the family were trained to have near perfect accuracy, they kept their fortunes low enough to be unsuspecting, but high enough to keep their business.
Unfortunately, a couple of generations before Cayden's birth, the family's real talent was discovered, as well as the fact that they hadn't been completely honest with their fortunes. To protect themselves, they moved down to Australia and took their business underground, providing fortunes only for those they trusted and using higher quality premonitions for higher prices. Their cover business changes with each new generation; the current Mr. and Mrs. Hawksley now run a homely little pet shop with their loving children.
The second born child, Cayden was introduced to the family heritage just like any other child had been. He showed a penchant for card reading early on and stuck with it as he grew up, earning spare cash from strangers. Unlike his family, he preferred telling full fortunes for low costs, or free sometimes, and wasn't very fond of the way they insisted on hiding themselves from the outside world. What he was even less fond of was the events that surrounded the replacement of his brother with his "cousin".
Because his brother's gifts and strength were much more powerful than anyone could have anticipated, he was removed from the public eye and replaced with two personas, one a demure sister, another an unnoticeable cousin. Cayden was then moved up to take over the family business, a task overwhelming for someone whose abilities were hardly comparable to the rightful heir. In addition, his personal beliefs clashed with the ideals his parents were pressing onto him; he didn't like the way his brother had to hide who he really was to almost everyone and the fact that they couldn't provide their services to the public. It was soon after he was named heir that Cayden planned to "reveal" the family, so to speak, once he'd received the title of head of the family. Of course, his parents were adamantly against the danger he'd put his brother in by doing so, not to mention the family as a whole.
Cayden attended Countshire to not only cool his head, but to give his parents space as well. A foreign school, not to mention the same school his older brother was currently attending, seemed the perfect choice for composing his plans. Though at the age of 18, Cayden could be formerly recognized as head, he made an agreement with his parents not to until he'd finished with college. It was during this time that Cayden slowly made careful plans about how to go about revealing the truth of his family without bringing about all the troubles his parents worried of. It's been an unsuccessful road thus far, but with graduate school ahead of him, he has a bit more time.

By trade, Cayden is a tarot-card reader. He's been taught since young on how to read cards and has grown to be an expert at the field, with a near 80% accuracy in his readings. Underneath that, and his real talent, Cayden's an empath capable of reading emotions only from people very nearby. As in personal space nearby. Try passing that off smoothly.
