Application Form

Want to app? Great! Please make sure you read the rules, then fill out the form below (all fields must be filled unless otherwise noted, incomplete apps will not be accepted, and "unknown" or "n/a" or variants thereof are not acceptable answers) and mail the app to both offprints [at] gmail [dot] com and savantism [at] gmail [dot] com. Once you have two answers (one from each mod) you are good to go. o/

Player Information Must be filled out completely for the first app; afterwards, only the name is necessary.

Name: What should we call you by?
Age: Your age.
Journal: Your LiveJournal username.
E-Mail/AIM/MSN: Your e-mail/AIM screen name/MSN. These will be added to the player contact information, if you'd like any of these to not be available to other players, let us know.

Character Information

Name: Your character's full name.
Race: Human (normal), Human (potential), Human (immunity), Spirit or Shade.
Age: Your character's age. For human characters only.
Birthday: Your character's birthday. Doesn't need to include the year. For human characters only.
Origin: Where your character is from. Must be mentioned even if the character him/herself doesn't know.
Occupation: What your character does for a living. If they're uni faculty, please include which subject they teach. May also be unemployed or student - if a student, please include which course they're in at Countshire University. If a Spirit/Shade, since they have to disguise as normal humans, this also applies.
Online Handle: What username they go by online. Important for the IRC channel. If they have an AIM handle or e-mail address, include it too!

Magician Family: If your character is a Magician, which family is s/he from? (should be obvious from the full name, but just in case.) Leave out of the form if not a Magician.
Pact With: If your character already has a pact, name the Spirit/Shade that they're bound to. Note that only Human (potential) should have pacts with Spirits whereas only Human (immunity) should have pacts with Shades. Alternatively, if they're a Shade/Spirit and in a pact, name the human they're in a pact with. Leave out of the form if they don't have a pact.

Appearance: Describe what your character looks like.
PB: The name of their PB. Please make sure to pick a character with the kind of facial expressions you want to use before declaring your pb in order to minimise pb changes.

Background: Describe their past up to the current point in their life. This needs to be at least two paragraphs long. What was their childhood like? What are their motivations? How did they end up at Countshire University? Be as detailed as possible. If there are any parts of the background you'd like to keep a secret, include them in the app and then leave them out of the wiki profiles. No big secrets in their backgrounds will be accepted.

Personality: What is the character like? Describe their personality in at least a couple of sentences.

Other: Anything else about the character that the above doesn't cover.

Writing Samples

First-Person Journal Entry: A sample entry from the character's online journal.
Third-Person Writing Sample: A sample third-person drabble about the character. Not required if you already have a character in the game.
